There will be another update webinar in April once we have the regulations and new documents.
If you haven’t already attended one of TfP’s RRA seminars i would strongly recommend you do so. https://www.tfponline.co.uk/Public/EventsShop.aspx#Course_1537
Rentman will be ready and February’s webinar will discuss the changes already made.
There are regulations yet to be finalised by the government hence we’re still waiting on the new documents but they too will be made ready in time.
N.B. Although the commencement date for the changes in the Act to become effective is scheduled for 1st May 2026…. it is worth remembering when similar changes were made in Wales in 2022 the commencement date was originally set as 1st July 2022 but as that deadline approached it was re-scheduled to 1st December 2022.
Obviously we need to be ready but can’t commit just yet to, for instance, converting all tenancies due to end after 1st May to monthly periodic.
Thank you. Your responses are appreciated and will help us plan our own attendance in coming years.
New features currently being developed:
These, of course, will be released alongside any changes required by Renter’s Rights legislation.
The LetAlliance and Homesearch integrations will be ready this week. Open Banking and Block Management will be Beta testing first quarter 2026.

Rentman now has a flag for Local Authority mandated tasks. Such tasks also appear on their own new list in the main Rentman desktop. This becomes ever more important with Renter’s Rights legislation.
You can drag & drop a letter received (or scanned) as PDF and Rentman will, using AI, extract the text and create the task automatically.

This month’s webinar will take the form of a Q&A session with David d’Orton-Gibson of TfP (www.tfponline.co.uk) on the subject of the impending Renter’s Rights Bill.
As soon as it passes into law TfP will be releasing updated documents (and Rentman will make any necessary changes) but as yet nothing is certain; to quote David
“We need the regulations before we can make any real progress. The legislation is due back in the Lords on the 14 October (a bit flexible). I am aware some Lords will push for amendments, though it is not clear if they will have enough support to be passed in the Lords. Therefore, either it goes back to the Commons with some amendments, which the Commons will reject and send it back, or there will be no amendments and the Commons will pass it into law.“
Send any questions you have to info@dotgomm.co.uk now and join us for a live webinar at 14:00 on Thursday 23 October 2025.

Please note. Registering for this Q&A session can earn you a CPD certificate from TfP.
Ai continues to get a lot of press coverage. Just so you know, Rentman uses AI for the following :
As always, i’d be keen to hear your ideas for what else could be added.
Bear in mind that AI is not always reliable and its output should be checked for accuracy.
This month’s webinar is being hosted by TfP (https://www.tfponline.co.uk/) and includes speakers from HMCR.
Making Tax Digital (MTD) for Income Tax is a new way for sole traders and landlords to report their income and expenses to HMRC and submit their tax returns.
From 6 April 2026, sole traders and landlords with qualifying income over £50,000 from either self employment or property will be required to use MTD.
